This article offers an exploration of the creative production women writers and filmmakers who engage with tourism as a setting for fictional imaginaries. Centering on recent fiction from Chile Argentina, it examines how has infused new energy into withering genre travel writing, opening up space expression female subjectivities in field previously dominated by men. Through close reading works Uhart, Katz, Scherson Jeftanovic, explores these Latin American challenge Michel Onfray’s definition literature.
